The Moose Continue to Attract Talented Canadian Players
Hallowell, ME: The Maine Moose are pleased to announce the commitments of two brothers from New Brunswick, which will benefit both Moose squads. Forward Jean Laforest will join the Super Elite squad, while Pierre (Jean's younger brother) will start the season with the Elite squad.
"These players have all been on our radar screen for quite some time, says GM Steve Levesque. We scouted them for nearly a year and they all participated in our Halifax tryout last April. They both possess the hard work, grit and skilled play-making ability that eptimizes players from the Maritime Provinces."
both players played for the Ontario Hockey Academy last season and Jean Laforest was invited to the QMJHL Shawinigan Cataracts camp this year.
